St Louis Demo Empty St Louis Demo

Post by Leland Crooks Wed Nov 06, 2013 7:03 am

Thursday Nov 7th,, 3:00 Gateway Christian Church in St Louis.  Steve is bringing GC25's and all manner of subwoofers.  I am bringing the NEW GC28's for their debut, and 15" RachÉ's.

Yes that's tomorrow.  Nothing like short notice.

Have Dr. Doom be sure to play the two tracks he played for me in the shop, he should know which ones!
Depending of course on if they have appropriate lyrics!

All I can say is wow. Great demo. Got to hear several speakers last night and they are all crazy good. Our crew especially loved the gc25's and the 15's, but the 8's and the 18's were killer as well. Very, very impressed. Great guys as well!

We greatly appreciated your patience rdub. As you could tell we're still working out the kinks on this demo bizness. We're just a group of guys insanely excited about our new product. We don't do anything slick, just let the cabs speak for themselves.

The two products are so similar that in a closeup shot one would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two. I'm sure that Leland will post some photos as soon as he has the proper glamour shots.

Do you think rig at the St Louis demo would have worked "well enough" with say 6 GCs, or maybe even 4? I mean without having to run them to the bleeding edge of their abilities. What was the estimated LxWxH of the gym?

Four 25s total would have done quite well for recorded music and voice. For live music six to eight would be preferred depending on desired SPL and style of music.
